Lucretia S. White

Lucretia S. White, 94, of Forks Township, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025, in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Born January 31, 1931, in Englewood, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Frank K. and Lucretia (Havens) Smail. Her first husband, Frederick Wilson, passed away in 1973, and her second husband, William J. White, passed away in 2005. Lucretia graduated from Teaneck High School, NJ. Years ago, she worked as a legal secretary. Lucretia loved listening to 40's and Big Band music, writing poetry and short stories. She enjoyed company with friends at Country Meadows. She had been a member of Order of Eastern Star, Bogota, NJ Chapter; a former officer of the Ladies Auxiliary Fire Co.3, Paramus, NJ; a former president of the Hasbrouck Heights Republican Club; former president, vice-president and secretary of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Fellowship Club, Bethlehem; and past president of the Forks Township Seniors. Surviving are two daughters, Arden Maier and her husband Kurt, of Forest City, PA, and Beverly Wilson-DeFazio, of Blakeslee, PA; a son, George Wilson and his wife Lisa, of Plainfield, NJ; three step-daughters, Cheryl Miotto and her husband John, of East Rutherford, NJ, Cynthia Vicari and her husband Vincent, of Englewood, NJ, and Laureen Gent and her husband David, of Glen Burnie, MD; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her first and second husband, she was predeceased by a son-in-law, Stephen DeFazio. Services will be held at 2:30pm Monday, August 4th, in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton St., Wilson Borough. Call Monday 2:00-2:30pm in the funeral home.
