Mr. David Louis Teasley, age 72 of Hartwell Georgia, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2024.
He was born on October 8, 1951 in Anderson, S.C., to the late Verlyn Teasley and Clara Stamey Teasley. He worked at Bellcraft Mfg., for many years. He loved church league softball, spending time with his family and was a huge Georgia Bulldog fan. He graduated from Hart County High School, Class of 1969. David was a member of New Life Baptist Church.
Left to cherish his memories are; his wife, Sandra Kay Wilson Teasley, children, Rev. Ricky (Tabatha) Hix, and Amy Taylor, Angel Wilson, brothers, Donald (Tami) Teasley and Andrew (Shelia) Teasley all of Hartwell. Five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren survive.
Services celebrating the life of David Teasley will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Two o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Rev. Ricky Hix will officiate. David wished to be cremated and a a private burial will be at Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will greet friends on Sunday from 1-2 just prior to the service at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors.
