Born in Sturgis, St. Joseph County, MI, to Harold Wayne Teeters and Carlene Rae Fillmore on July 15, 1958. Surviving are his mother, Carlene Fillmore Earl (Mrs. Raymond), Valrico, FL; his siblings are James Teeters, Kalamazoo, MI; Robert Teeters, Plano, TX; and Victoria Leon, Lakeland, FL; his step sisters are Bonnie Earl Abel and Deborah Earl Taylor.
His father, Harold, preceded him in death, and so did his stepbrother, Steven Earl.
