David John Thorpe
October 12, 1967 - May 1, 2022
David John Thorpe, spread his wings and learned to fly -suddenly passed- early morning May 1, 2022. He was born toSandra May Thorpe and Lawrence Jack Thorpe in Ipswich, Suffolk England. The lad fearlessly sought out his goal to earn enough coins to make his way across the pond and chase the life in the USA he had only dreamt of as a teenager. He began his travels to the USA, where he joined the United States Air Force. He went on to become an airman as well as a health service managment journeyman, honorably serving from July 6, 1989 until December 1, 2000. Before his separation from the military he obtained his rank as an SSGT E5, and earned the following awards: Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, National Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, and NCO Professional Education Graduate. The noble gesture of leaving his home country to come and fight for the USA, is one of many reasons why you were and always will be a hero. We Thank you for your service, more than you will ever know.
David John Thorpe is survived by his loving children Lee Thorpe, Collin Thorpe, Joshua Jackson Thorpe, Brittany Jackson Thorpe, Ebony Thorpe, Jeremiah Thorpe, Michaela Thorpe - loving siblings Gary Thorpe, Sue Thorpe, Carolyn Thorpe, and Julie Thorpe - His grandchildren Isiah Gonzalez, Lucy Pruneda, Scarlett Pruneda, Linda Pruneda, Christopher Wallace and Layla Carr - And his loving parents Sandra May Thorpe and Lawrence Jack Thorpe, for without your sweet loving, David's heart would not be as pure as it is.
David is preceded in paradise xx-no more no where man sitting in this nowhere land-xx with his son Isiah Thorpe as well as his sister Kristi Thorpe and niece Kerry Thorpe.
He will be remembered for his ability to light up any room he walked in. You couldn't help but dance when he gets to dancing, sing the Beatles at the top of your lungs when he got to singing, and he could get anyone in a better mood with his English humor. He was more wit that a dozen geniuses combined. His selflessness was beyond measure, his heart full of unconditional love for his loved ones. Your journey was one with many unexpected obstacles, and you fought, not as a selfish man would, instead your fight was only wanting more time to spend loving your family. You will be missed, loved and remembered always. - I am he, as you are he, as you are me, and we are all together.-
