David Lee Trammell went to be with the Lord and many other loved ones who went before him on July 4th, 2024, at the age of 75.
David was born in Ringgold, Louisiana on January 27th, 1949, to Blanche Grace Voges. David became a Trammell when a good man, James Royce Trammell married Blanche and raised David like he was his own. The father figure James Royce Trammell displayed helped mold David into the great man he became. Blanche was always by his side growing up, showering him with unconditional love and understanding. He was the apple of her eye.
During high school, he worked at Handy Andy, then went to work for Anchor Construction, but he found his calling when he got a job at Bush Hydraulics. After working at Bush Hydraulics, he decided to open his own business, Trammell Hydraulics, for 25 years until he got an offer to go work at Service Hydraulics where after 10 years he decided to retire.
Hydraulic equipment was his career, but his hobby and passion was restoring and customizing old automobiles. David found the love of his life when he met Ann, who motivated him to be the best he could be in life and in his faith in God. He was a dedicated, loving husband and father, happy go lucky, wise, kind, jack of all trades and had an exceptional sense of humor.
David is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Ann Trammell.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Blake and Kappy (Erin); and grandchildren, Trevor, Kevin and Kirsten.
