WORCESTER - David L. Turgeon, 76, of Worcester, passed away suddenly on November 25, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He is the devoted husband of Dorothy "Dottie" (Fowley) Turgeon, with whom he has shared the last 60 years with, 53 years of marriage.

Born in Worcester, raised in Millbury, David was the son of the late William and Dorothy (Sadowski) Turgeon. He was a graduate of Millbury High School, class of 1967. After graduating high school, he was drafted to the US Army and proudly served in the Vietnam War as part of the Army Engineer Battalion. After returning home, he worked for the City of Worcester as a heavy equipment operator for over 30 years.

David found joy in the simple things. He was a silent patriarch and a man of honor. Over the years, he and Dottie traveled wherever life took them before eventually settling down to start their family. More recently, they enjoyed spending their winters in Sarasota, Florida. He was highly devoted to the people he loved. He loved being his granddaughter's #1 "Pep". He enjoyed hosting and cooking for family on holidays and making lasting memories. He was the best hunting and fishing buddy to his nephew John and loved spending time with his best friend- his wife and his biggest fans- his daughters.

He loved sharing his vast knowledge with everyone. Proudly taught his daughter's how to cook, how to grow his beautiful garden and many random things he thought would be helpful to know and carry on with his legacy.

Along with his wife Dottie, David leaves behind loving twin daughters, Kelli Daoust and her husband Brian of Leicester who was a devoted son-in-law to him, and Jennifer Turgeon of Worcester. He also leaves his adoring granddaughter Grace, his beloved nephew John Jablonski, other nieces and nephews and many special family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, December 3rd from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street in Holden. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated the following day, Thursday, December 4th at Immaculate Conception Parish, 353 Grove Street, Worcester at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
