David Twigg Obituary
David was born at home in Yoe PA on February 18th, 1952, to Herman Twigg and Lillybelle A. (Hevner) Twigg. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Eileen (Kinard) Twigg, two sons David M. Twigg II and Stephen M. Twigg and his wife Bessie, his sister Teresa A. Twigg, granddaughter Alexis M. Twigg, great grandchildren Brinlee and Cason, and is preceded in death by his brother Stephen Tyler Twigg.
David graduated from Red Lion Area High School, class of 1970, and worked at General Dynamics in Red Lion PA, before starting his own General Contracting business in Red Lion PA, and then in Maryland on Hoopers Island for 20 years.
David enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and building boats. He built his own 41' fiberglass boat (the Alexis Marie) from a purchased bare hull and spent many happy years on the Chesapeake Bay, MD before developing serious health issues.
Service will be held on Tuesday January 13th at Christ United Methodist Church, 81 North Main Street, Yoe PA 17313, Pastor Albert Horst presiding. Visitation will be held at 10:00 am and service following at 11:00am.
