David Martinez Valdez, 63, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 28, 2025 in the Kornerstone Funeral Director Chapel. Burial will follow at Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.
David was born on February 15, 1962 in Plainview.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Angelita Rocha, his mother, Lola Chaga Valdez Martinez; brothers, Raul Valdez, Ismael Valdez, and Jose "Popo" Hector Valdez Adame; two sisters, Janit Gonzales and Dolores Luera; one daughter, Angelica Valdez, and Baby G.
He is survived by one son, David Valdez, Jr. of Plainview; one daughter, Brittany Guerra & husband Daniel Guerra of Plainview; two brothers, Roy Valdez of Lubbock and Mario Valdez of San Antonio; two sisters, Rosa Valdez and Eva Aguirre both of Plainview; six grandchildren, Zahaira Valdez, Jeremiah Valdez, Yazleen Valdez, Nicolai Valdez, Anais Guerra and Juliana Martinez.
