VALENTINE, David J., Age 77. October 3, 2025.

Beloved husband of Denise for 49 wonderful and loving years. Cherished father of Laura (Christopher) Nienstedt, Michael (Lisa) Valentine and Amy Valentine. Adored grandfather of Matthew Nienstedt, Katherine Nienstedt, Emily Nienstedt, Joseph Valentine, Anthony Valentine and Michael Valentine, Jr. Dear son of the late Mario and Vincenza Valentine.

David worked at St. John Macomb for over 40 years, where he retired as the Director of Respiratory Therapy. While working he was the head of many committees and was well liked by his colleagues and coworkers. David was a devoted family man. He was dedicated his children's activities, was a Boy Scout leader and ran a children's bowling league for many years. David will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.

Visitation Tuesday, October 7, 2025, 3-9pm at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons with Rosary at 7pm, 36900 Schoenherr Rd. at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Instate 8:30am Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at St. Ephrem Catholic Church, 38900 Dodge Park Rd, Sterling Heights, until 9am Funeral Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Donations may be made in David's honor to the American Diabetes Association or Alzheimer's Association of Michigan.
