The family of David (Dave) N. Vincent of Graham is saddened to announce the passing of a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend on Monday, December 2nd at the age of 76. He was born in Tacoma on February 14th 1948 and was raised in the Spanaway area where he lived most of his life. Always, in his words, "in the shadow of the mountain", speaking of Mt. Rainier where he wanted to be.
Dave will always be lovingly remembered by his wife of 24 years, Bonnie; children, Michelle (Ed) of Lake Tapps; grandchildren David (Rebekah) of Seguin, Texas, Kaitie (Dujvon) of Tacoma, Washington, Donald (Stephanie) of Tacoma, Washington, Steven (Anne) of Eagle, UT; great-grandchildren Donald Jr. and Elijah of Tacoma; sibling Merle "Sis" of Sun City West, Arizona and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbors.
Additionally in November 2000, when Dave and Bonnie were married, he was blessed with a bonus family that he loved so very much. Daughter Lavone of Graham, Washington, Son Darrell (Kristy) of Auburn, Washington; grandchildren JoLana (Danny) of Renton and Mason and Riley of Auburn, Washington.
He was preceded in death by his former wife & mother of Michelle, Claudette Vincent, parents William H. Vincent Sr., Annastasha Ellen Vincent and brothers William H. Vincent JR and Donald L. Vincent.
Dave worked at and retired from the Boeing Aerospace Company as a machinist after 30 years of employment. All who knew him knew that he loved corvettes and everything aviation. He would often visit Pierce County airport (Thun Field) just to watch the planes and the beautiful mountain he loved so much.
He will be remembered as a man who was loved and respected by many, would help anyone, and always had a smile, laugh, or a joke for those he would meet along the way while never asking for anything in return.
Dave will be interred in a private ceremony for immediate family at Fir Lane Memorial Cemetery in Spanaway, Washington with his predeceased family members. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 18th, 2025, at 1:30 pm. This will be at the Cedar Springs Community Church. (25713 70th Avenue East in Graham, WA 98338)
