David Carr Wakeling

David Carr Wakeling, age 51, of Millsboro, DE formerly of Wilmington, DE died on June 19th, 2024 at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford, DE.
David is predeceased by his mother and father Lois Wakeling & Charles Wakeling.
David is survived by his wife Bonita L. Wakeling – Millsboro, DE, daughter Taylor M. Wakeling – Round Rock, TX, brother Charles Wakeling – Georgetown, DE, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in the Delaware area.
David was a graduate of Williamson College of Trades in 1996 with a landscape horticulture degree. He was acquired by Ruppert Landscape in 1996 as an Assistant Field Manager and quickly made his way to Field Manager. He worked at this position until 1998 when Ruppert was sold to TruGreen. During his early years at TruGreen Landscape, he was promoted to Area Manager. He rejoined Ruppert Landscape in 2004 and was recently recognized for 20 years of service with Ruppert in February 2024. When he wasn't working, he loved watching the Phillies and loved watching the Eagles even more.
A Service for David will be held Wednesday June 26, 2024 at 11:00 am, at McCrery & Harra, located at 3924 Concord Pike Wilmington, DE 19803. Friends and family may call for 10:00-11:00 am. Burial will take place privately.
