David was born in Portland, Oregon on September 22, 1972, to Beth and Charlie Weaver. He shared his birthday with his dad. He grew up in and around Washington County Oregon surrounded by a huge loving family.

In May of 1998 David met his wife Tracy and on September 18, 1999, they started what would become a very blessed life together. A couple of years later they welcomed their first son Jonathan, followed by Gregory three years later and completing the family in 2012 was Sam. The five of them loved taking road trips to the different state capitals, last count they were at 17.

David loved watching his boys play sports and perform in One Act Play. He was often heard from the stands rooting them on and making sure the refs knew what an amazing job they were doing.

David brought humor to every chapter of his life and never hesitated to speak his mind. He worked for the local cable company for almost 17 years where his dedication and reliability left an impression on his coworkers and customers alike.

He attended Trinity Baptist Church where he was often found talking thought life and giving his opinion on topics of the day. He loved helping wherever he was needed especially with cooking for the fundraisers and watching the babies in the nursery. David loved his church family.

As well as his father Charlie Weaver; father-in-law Ron Sheffield; brother-in-laws Bradley (Liz)Sheffield, Shawn (Laura)Sheffield; his sister Jennifer Warren; five nephews and three nieces.
