David L. Weikle

David L. Weikle went to be with the lord on March 2, 2024.
David was known as an avid fan of NASCAR racing and the Pittsburg Steelers, and the West Virginia Mountaineers.
David was a faithful employee of S.J. Neathawk Lumber in Lewisburg, West Virginia, and Montvale, Virginia, for more than 30 years. Over the years he made friends with many contractors, suppliers and customers in the area.
During his many travels for work and leisure, David visited many cities and several countries, but he always considered Lewisburg, West Virginia his home.
He is survived by his wife, Paula Weikle and their beloved Belgian Malinois, Gunner, and his stepson Nathan Patton and wife Chelsea.
David is also survived by his siblings, Matt Weikle and wife Bertha, Pat Humphreys, and Brenda Lemon all from Lewisburg, West Virginia, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his mother Thelma Marie Weikle and his father Paulmer (Junior) Weikle.
Memorial services will be held at Rhema Christian Center in Lewisburg on Friday, March 15. The family will receive visitors from 10 AM to 11 AM before a service, with a reception afterward provided by the church.
