David Reese White, born on July 27, 1946, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of love, diligence, and a storied career that spanned five decades as a purchasing agent. David's professional life was marked by his commitment to excellence, and he retired with pride after 50 years of dedicated service.
Beyond his career, David was passionate about fishing and golf, activities that brought him great joy and relaxation. Most importantly, he cherished time spent with his family. His enduring love for them was evident in every interaction, and he was a source of strength and support for those who knew him.
David is survived by his children, Dane Anthony White, James Timothy Cline (Cathie), Lori Anne White, and Tia Michelle Helcl (Larry). He also leaves behind his brother, Darrell Taranto, who shared many cherished memories with him. David was a proud grandfather to Justin "Chase" White, Lindsay Wallace, Austin White, Christian White, Jonathon Cline, Hunter Cline, Nicole Cline, Ashley Vaughn, Brittney Boyd, Cody Helcl, Rayla Gallegos, Brayson Tuck, and Brook Tuck. He was adored as a great-grandfather to Ryker White, Knox Wallace, Beau Wallace, Madison Dunnam, Blayne Dunnam, Landy Dixon, Maddox Dixon, Braxton Dixon, Thayer Waltman, and Ryder Waltman, and a great-great-grandfather to Paisleigh, Baylor, Shiloh, Ava, Sawyer, and Olivia.
David was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Agnes Ruth White; his father, CR White; his mother, Louise Parr Matinez; and his dear great-grandson, Kayson Wright. Their memories remain a part of his legacy, filling the hearts of those he touched with love and warmth.
As family and friends gather to honor David’s life, they will remember him for his remarkable spirit, unwavering loyalty, and the profound impact he had on all who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his love will endure in the hearts of many.
