David Wayne Wildmo, 51, of Lake Fenton, died on November 24, 2025 in St. Johns. Born on April 28, 1974, in Flint, Michigan, Dave was the youngest of five children born to Russell and Sharon (Christopher) Wildmo.
A graduate of Lake Fenton High School, Dave was a remarkably gifted musician from an early age. Music wasn't just something he loved-it was who he was. He was an incredibly talented guitarist, pianist and songwriter.
Dave was charismatic, incredibly smart, funny, honest, and quick-witted. People were drawn to him. He enjoyed life's simple pleasures: music, sports (especially the Minnesota Vikings and all Detroit teams), coaching baseball, hiking, working in the yard, and taking walks with his hound dog, Boone. He was always one to keep busy, always moving, always giving.
One of his greatest joys and hobbies was his son, Ty-born on Dave's own birthday-they forged a special bond. He was fiercely supportive of Ty's wrestling, doing everything he could for him and looking out for his friends as well. Ty was not only his pride, but his purpose for many years.
Dave is survived by his son, Ty Wildmo and his mother, Andrea ("Anrea") Metcalfe; his father, Russell Wildmo; and his siblings Roger (Anna) Wildmo, Greg (Dawn Dobler) Wildmo, Shar (Dave) Brodie, and Russell "Mark" (Michelle) Wildmo. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Roger and Jasmine, Brent and Brian, Lisa Seldon, Danny, and Amanda Iafano; great nieces and nephews, extended family members and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon.
