David Allen Willcut, Jr., age 54, passed from this life on December 17th, 2025, at the Daybreak Nursing Center in Sikeston, Missouri. He passed on his Mother's birthday.

David was born on April 29th, 1971, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to David and Lucille Willcut. He had two brothers, William McNece (Bub) and his wife Janet, and James Willcut, and one sister Lorie Wilson and husband, Bobby.

David had five children, Samantha, Nika, Klayton, Lillieanna, and Paige. He was also a bonus Dad to Danny and Zach Tims and Kalynn and Kylea Hunter.

David loved the outdoors, loved fishing and being at the lake or a river. He was content in life with just what he needed to get by and never required material things to be happy. He found joy in his friendships and his family.

David was a great mechanic and a skilled carpenter, and he spent many years working side by side with his brother William (Bub) and his nephews, Ethan and Dillon McNece.

David was preceded in Death by his Mother, Lucille Dorris, and his beloved Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

David leaves behind his nieces and nephews, which he was very proud of. They are Ashley and Emily and Jesse Willcut, Sky and Shy Wilson, Ethan & Dillon McNece, Kasey Edwards, and Kelley Ponder. He is also survived by two Uncles, Ernie Dorris, and Bud Willcut, and one Aunt, Liz Newkirk Graves and his Stepmother, Loretta Willcut.

He leaves behind a multitude of cousins, and many lifelong friends that were his family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 3rd, 2026, from 11am-1pm at the Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home located at 16984 US-67 S, Neelyville, MO 63954.

Cremation services were under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
