David Allen Williams, also known as "Wugga", "Doc", or "P-Paw", 68, beloved husband, father, brother and friend, passed away at his home, surrounded by those that he loved most, on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Services will be held at The Grove Church, 120 Langston Road, Perry, on Saturday, September 20, 2025, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM, followed by funeral services at 2:30 PM. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, 720 South Camellia Boulevard in Fort Valley.

Born in Reynolds on August 4, 1957, to the late W.T. and Mary Emma Giles Williams, David was a friend to many and always shared a smile. He graduated from Taylor County High School and Southern Crescent Technical School before entering the workforce at Blue Bird Body Company where he retired after 44 years of service. In 1978, he married the love of his life, Sarah Johnson, and together they raised their family and began their journey of ministry to the Lord. David was a preacher and led children's ministry at different locations for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, and coaching rec ball when his children were young. A talented handyman, David could build or repair anything, often inventing something to solve the problem.

Left to cherish the memories of such a remarkable man include his devoted wife of 47 years, Sarah Johnson Williams; their children, Jeremy Williams (Jenni) and Regina Boone (Conor); Grandchildren Noah Boone, Emma Williams, Greyson Boone, Melissa Williams, Jace Williams, Bo Williams, and Lillyann Boone; Brothers, Douglas Williams (Sally) and Bobby Williams (Jennifer); Several Nieces and Nephews; and his beloved dog "Jose" which he called "Little Man". He is preceded in death by a baby son, Joshua John "JJ" Williams.

In lieu of flowers, family respectfully requests donations be made to three year old, Ayla Alexander. Ayla is a friend of the family and is currently being treated for Brain Cancer. Flowers fade and children shouldn't. Donations can be made to her parents (Aaron and Shawna Alexander) by using: CashApp - $shawnaalexander8; Venmo - @Shawna-Alexander-17; or checks can also be mailed to: Aaron and Shawna Alexander, 34 Holcomb Rd., Silver Creek Ga 30173. Rooks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
