Bubba, Big Damn Dave, Boo (to his mom), "The Baby Whisperer", passed away on January 16, 2025 after a short illness.
David loved "Here Come the Mummies", shooting, and camping "mountain man" style. For him to be such an intimidating man, spiders and "nope ropes" could get him moving faster than anything that you could think of. He was not always late, but never really on time. Dave was a big man with a big personality. He was the first born child that paved the way to "freedom" for his three younger siblings. He was a beloved brother, son, and a friend that would give you the shirt off of his back. Dave liked to go to Pins Mechanical to throw duckpin bowling frames with his girlfriend, Angela.
Dave is survived by his parents Grace and Ed Wilson; brothers Travis Wilson and Charles Daniel Wilson of Denver, NC; sister Rebecca (Tom) Strang of Denver, NC; girlfriend Angela Castiglia; and a host of friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC.
