Cathy Sigmon Obituary
December 11, 1952 - February 1, 2026
Cornelius, North Carolina - Cathy Cameron Sigmon, passed away peacefully on February 1st. All who knew Cathy loved receiving her seasonal holiday cards, sweet treats, and admired her kind spirit. As a preschool teacher in the Charlotte area for decades, her spirit and love for teaching will not be forgotten. Calvary Church, Good Sheppard Presbyterian Church, and the Goddard school is where Cathy spent countless hours singing songs to children, instilling morals, and ensuring parents of a safe teaching environment. Cathy had an altruistic spirit, and always wanted friends and family to know they were on her mind. May God bless her soul as she ascends above to the heavens. Surviving members; Logan Sigmon, Watts Sigmon, and daughter in law Naffy Sigmon; grandchildren Cameron Anosi Sigmon and Logan Delilah Brown, sister Sherry Worth, brother Randy Cameron, and her twin sister Cindy Cameron. There are too many Meredith College memories to write. We all found our way to each other and experienced college life and love with our Meredith "angels." Cammy was always with a smile- happiest when she was in the middle of playful mischief or helping others. Her kind compassionate soul will be remembered and missed.

Cathy was my sweet dear friend from Meredith College. I was one of the lucky ones to receive many cards and gifts from her. She was so kind and always thought of others before herself. My love and prayers go out to her family. I have a huge hole in my heart because she is no longer here. Rest In Peace, Cammy.
