David S. Wilson Jr., 89, of Holmdel, NJ, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family.
David S. Wilson Jr. was born on April 5th, 1935 in Rutherford, NJ to David Sr. and Jessie Wilson. After graduating from Colgate University, Dave went on to pursue a career in Business Management, working at L'Oréal for 25 years. He made a significant impact through his ingenuity and management skills in the marketing and packaging division.
Outside of work, Dave was passionate about his family, friends, traveling, riding his motorcycle all across the U.S with his buddies, and skiing with his beloved daughter Lauren. He loved spending time with family and friends, especially at large family gatherings. Dave was known for his kindness, generosity, sense of humor and commitment to his family and friends, he was a very dedicated father, husband and friend!
Dave was a devoted husband to Liv (Née Nordskog) for 57 wonderful years, a loving father to Lauren Doherty and her husband James and grandfather to his pride and joy Séamus. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Donald.
A funeral service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Wounded Warrior Project in Dave's memory.
Dave will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and extensive network of friends around the world.
Services are entrusted to Jersey Shore Cremation, 43 Taylor Avenue, Manasquan, NJ.
