David Wilson Obituary

David was born in Rome, Georgia on June 29, 1950, son of the late James Robert Wilson, and the late Agnes Christine Burkalter Wilson. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Rosemary Wilson Pitts.
Mr. Wilson earned his bachelor's degree in history from Berry College, and he worked in sales with Parts Association, Inc. He liked to be out in nature, he enjoyed gardening, animals, and he loved to fish. David was a loving father, grandfather, and friend, he will be missed by all that knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Megan Laney (Brandon); his son, Ryne Wilson; his grandchildren, Rob Laney and Mia Laney; his uncle Freddie Burkhalter (Ann); his closest friends that he loved like family, Rob Blakenship (Kathy), Levi Blakenship (Ray), Tiffany Smith (Larry), and Dunkin Blakenship (Tina); and numerous cousins.
In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Wilson will be cremated.
The family will have a private celebration of life gathering at a later date.
