Annie Hyde Gill Obituary

Mrs. Gill was born in Bartow County, Georgia on January 5, 1944, daughter of the late Isaac Lamar Hyde and the late Frances Yvonne Wills Hyde. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty, and by four brothers, Lamar, Bob, David, and Sammy. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Gill was a Tax Clerk with the Floyd County Tax Commissioner's Office for 32 years. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed gardening and working in her flowers.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years,William Jerry Gill; a daughter, Tammy Gill; a brother, Jimmy Hyde (Carol); nieces and nephews.
A committal service will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 3pm in the Gazebo at Rome Memorial Park. Entombment will follow in the Rome Memorial Park Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
