Stella Clary Obituary

Stella was born in Rome, Georgia, on November 26, 1953, daughter of the late Horace Thurston Clary and Annette Freeman Clary. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her sisters, Laura and Eva Clary, and her daughter, Jessica Couey.
Stella graduated from East Rome High School in 1971 and attended Shorter College. She was passionate about politics, her cats, loved to laugh, and enjoyed music. She was also incredibly dedicated to the Floyd County Wildlife Association. She is at peace now, very excited to be reunited with her family in heaven.
Survivors include her best friend and cousin, Floyd Farless, as well as numerous other cousins, friends, and her beloved cats.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 3300 Garden Lakes Blvd. Rome, GA 30165 on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
