David Lee Wren

David Lee Wren, age 77, passed away at his residence November 14, 2025, after an extended illness. He was born May 06, 1948, in Kenton, OH to the late Gerald Edward Wren and Jessie Simmons Wren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Samuel, James, Jerry, and Arthur Wren; sisters, Janet Aldridge, Mary Lou Howard, and Donna Griffin.

He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Alma Church of God.

Survivors include his wife of years, Naomi Catherine Wren; sons, David Wren, II (Angel) of Cameron, NC, Billy Varney of West Virginia and James Keller of Alma; daughters, Renee Blackmon (Kevin) and Sonya Eisner, both of Alma; nineteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 19,2025 in the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home at 2 PM with Rev. Dale Kitchens officiating. Interment will follow with military honors at Pine Lawn Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 12 PM until service time.

Active pallbearers include Kevin Blackmon, Eugene Jarman, Donnie Phillips, Matthew Eisner, David Wren, and Ethan Jarman.

All in attendance will be considered honorary pallbearers.
