David Wynn Jr. Obituary
He is survived by his father, David Wynn, Sr.; two beloved sisters, Lynette and Elizabeth; five nieces and nephews; and nine great-nieces and great-nephews. He will be remembered for his loving kindness, generous spirit, and ready wit.
David was a graduate of Eastern University, where he studied science and biology. He went on to build a distinguished career as a Senior Research Biologist at Merck Pharmaceuticals, contributing to the development of vital medicines and vaccines.
An avid outdoorsman, David enjoyed running, cycling, camping, and especially kayaking the rivers and streams of Pennsylvania.
His love of nature was matched by his passion for music. A skilled guitarist, he mastered a broad array of instruments and maintained a personal studio where he arranged and recorded many of his own original compositions.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 18 at 1 PM at the Frederick Living retirement community in Frederick, Pa.
