David Yantis, 71, of Marshalltown, IA passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at his residence. Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m., Friday, July 11, 2025, at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Marshalltown. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Homes in Marshalltown prior to burial at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Anderson Funeral Homes has been entrusted with the arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to www.andersonfhs.com.

David Allen Yantis was born May 22, 1954, to Fred and Ruby (Thomas) Yantis in Marshalltown. He graduated from Marshalltown High School and continued to live in the Marshalltown area. He worked as a truck driver for the Iowa Workforce Center until retirement. David enjoyed cars, music, watching the Rams play in the NFL, and spending time with his friends.

David is survived by his daughter, Virginia, and one granddaughter, both of Missouri, and his father, Fred Yantis, of Marshalltown. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Yantis, and his sister, Karen Fouts.
