Dorothy and family,

I was so sorry to hear of Dave's death. I know he had a long and hard battle.
I worked with Dave as long as he worked at TL/Bosch. I travelled to Crailsheim, Germany with him the first time he went, and I enjoyed visiting the Crailsheim Firehouse, and enjoyed seeing Dave talk to the Firemen and exchange patches.
Dave was a good man who always had a positive attitude and a friendly way. I will miss him.

Dorothy, Brad, Steve,
Our thoughts and prayers are will you. Dave was a wonderful man that touched the lives of many many kids and families. Those of us that were blessed enough to know him realize what a great guy we lost. He was quick to worry about everyone else and not himself. There are not enough people like him around and it is sad to lose those like him. Take strength with all those who loved him and are there for and with you.

I was a coworker of Dave's for 6 years. This past summer, during our company BBQ lunch, Dave provided me with a heart-warming, enduring memory as I watched him enjoy lunch with his granddaughter. Your family is in my prayers.

Dorothy and Family - We were saddened to hear of Dave’s passing. If you had just met him you never would of known the battle he was fighting. He always had a smile on his face and genuinely was more concerned for your welfare then his own. We’ve never met anyone who faced cancer the way Dave did, with dignity, optimism and incredible courage.

Dorothy and family,
If you could only say one word about Dave, I'm pretty sure it would be ATTITUDE. Not the bad 'tude that some people carry around. Dave's attitude was always good, positive, he wasn't a whiner, he was a joiner and a leader. He held a job, cared for his family and his home, and was more civic minded than 10 other people together. He always had time for a quick chat even if you knew he just couldn't be feeling good. That amazing attitude is what I'll always remember as Dave, that and his utter sincerity. So genuine! Your loss isn't only yours, we've all got a lot to remember. I'm so sorry. Les

I am sorry for your loss.. Dave was such a strong person through out this whole battle. I remember being at the relay for life, and when he did the survivor lap and came around the corner upon my team, we screamed, clapped, whistled, cheered, so loud because we were so proud of him, and he knew it, you could tell by looking at him. He is such an inspiriation for me just by the way he faced this battle. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Dorothy, Brad, and Steve:

We were surprised and saddened to hear of Dave's passing away. We always enjoyed talking with Dave at the hockey games through the years. We know that he will be greatly missed by all of you.

Please know that we are praying for all of you. We trust that you will be comforted in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father, for he alone can bring to you the peace that passes understanding and assuage the grief that you must feel at this time.

1 Thessalonians 2:8 reads as follows: We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us.

Dave, Dorothy, Brad, and Steve thank you for sharing your lives with all of us.

Sincerely,

Tom and Shawn St. Aubin, and family
