She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Ann loved her family. She enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, fishing, traveling, and spending time with her family. Ann had a tender heart for animals and would never turn away a stray. When she was able Ann was very active in her church community, always bringing a dish to share.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband Billy E. Barrett; son Jeffery Scott Barrett; sister Louise Shanks; brothers Ray Ward and Thales Ward.

Those left to cherish her memory are her granddaughters Stephanie (Lucas) Crowe; Josephine (Matthew Jones) Barrett; daughter-in-law Rebecca Barrett; sister Evelyn (Bill) Stewart; brothers Larry Ward and Jack (Glenda) Ward; as well as several nieces and nephews.
