Edward Wayne "Eddie" Trent

Edward Wayne Trent, known as Eddie and affectionately called "Bubby" by those closest to him, passed away at the age of 54. Born to Ed and Faye Trent, Eddie was a resident of Church Hill, TN. He is survived by his children, Justin Trent, Ashley Trent, and Devon Trent; and his grandchildren, Kendall Trent, McKenzie Trent, and Necalli Trent. He is also remembered as a loving brother to Michael D. Trent and sister-in-law Geri Ann Trent; a nephew of his special uncle, Billy Jack Trent; a cousin to Barbara Quillen; and an uncle to his nephews, Cameron Trent (Heather) and Conner Trent (Olivia). He is also survived by his great-niece and three great-nephews, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Eddie was a loner at heart and felt most himself when surrounded by nature. Whether in the woods or along the river, that is where he found the greatest peace. He will be remembered for his humor, his quick wit, and the lasting place he holds in the hearts of those who loved him.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 11:00 am at Carter-Trent Funeral Home – Church Hill with Rev. Larry Arnold officiating. Those wishing to attend the memorial service are asked to arrive at the funeral home by 10:50 am.
