Beloved husband of 59 ½ years to Linda Millet Madere. Loving father of Yvette Degeyter (Chris), Suzanne Hebert, Davis Madere, III (Jenny), Timothy Madere (Jen) and the late Angela Madere. Grandfather of 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Son of the late Davis R. Madere, Sr. and Violet Villemont Madere. Brother of the late Kathleen Andry and Samuel Madere. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thanks to his grandchildren, Mike (Ashley), Joe and Kate Hebert, for their loving care during his final years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1550 Hwy 44, Reserve on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Visitation will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with the Funeral Mass to immediately follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment in St. Peter Cemetery.
