With sad and heavy hearts, we announce that Dawn Carol (Thompson) Clark went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 18, 2025. Dawn was born with a gentle spirit and generous heart on January 03, 1957, in Rochester, MN, to Dorothy Helfenstein Thompson and George Thompson. Dawn met the love of her life, George Clark, in 1974. She was the mother of 4 children, Carolyn (Clark) Price, George Thomas Clark, Scotty Clark, and Jeremy Todd Clark. Dawn dedicated her life to her family and friends. She was the cornerstone of our home, always offering comfort, wisdom, and encouragement. Her laughter filled our lives with joy, and her compassion inspired those around her to be their best selves. An accomplished pianist and artist, Dawn went on to become an EMT and firefighter with Lake Hamilton Fire Department. She had many passions, and her love for life was rivaled only by her love for travel and adventure. She could even be seen riding through town on the back of George's motorcycle. Dawn enjoyed life to the fullest and could often be found gardening, sewing, crafting, and most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Dawn was known for her warmth, her ability to listen, and her readiness to help anyone in need. Her home was a place of welcome, and her table was always open to those seeking company, nourishment, and love. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to her loved ones touched everyone who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all whose lives she graced. Dawn Carol (Thompson) Clark was preceded in death by her father, George Thompson,
grandparents, Harry and Ethel Helfenstein and Harry and Sadie Helfenstein, and beloved grandson, Brendyn Clark.
Dawn is survived by her husband, George Clark, her children, Carolyn (Clark) Price, George Thomas Clark, Scotty Clark, Jeremy Todd Clark, her grandchildren, Mikayla Sandlin, Mikenna Davis, Jayden Clark, Elissa Clark, Scott Evan Clark, Justice Clark, Rowan Paul, Gabriel Paul, Danny Price, James Price, Jin Price, Alicia Price, Tylier Sales, and Dakota Clouse, and greatgrandchildren Irwin Sandlin, Briar Wilson, Sierra Clark, Braxton Davis, Brantlee Davis, Greyson Zavala, Ruby Zavala, and Jasper Price.
