Dawn Mabie Obituary

Dawn was born January 2. 1942 in Hibbing, Minnesota, the daughter of the late Lyle Trickey and the late Fannie Samson Tricky. She was a loving homemaker and stay at home mom. Dawn enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. She loved taking care of her large family. Dawn was Baptist.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Elmer Mabie, siblings, Edna, Lyla, Ronnie, Chappy and Mavis Ann.
Dawn is survived by her children, Elaine Canales of Sacramento, CA, Debra Stewart of Sacramento, CA, Deana Stickley of Sacramento, CA, Daniel Stewart of Las Vegas, NV, Shannon Reynolds, Lithia Springs, GA, Kathleen Mabie of Villa Rica, GA, Michael Mabie of Villa Rica, eighteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 20, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at J. Collins Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be conducted Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of J. Collins Funeral Home with Dr. Billy Godwin officiating.
