Mr. Donnie Lee Keith Gillispie, 69, of Villa Rica, GA, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025 in Tanner Medical Center, Carrollton.

Donnie was born February 27, 1956 in Scottsboro, AL, the son of the late Efford Gillispie and the late Jewel Holt Gillispie. He worked for FedEx for over 25 years as a truck driver. Donnie liked to work on old cars and collect pocket knives. He was a caring man who took pride in working for his loving family. He attended Villa Rica Free Holiness Church. Donnie touched the lives of many through his warmth and unwavering support in the lives of those who knew him. He will be missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Brenda Hill, Rodney Hill and Terry Lyn Gillispie.

Donnie is survived by his wife of 39 years, Angie Franks Gillispie of Villa Rica, children, Brian (Jaime Turner) Gillispie of Whitesburg, Jeffrey (Jesica) Evans of Wedowee, AL, Brad (Lindsey Chance) Gillispie of Villa Rica, sister, Carolyn Hargiss of Section, AL, eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 19, 2025 from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM at Villa Rica Free Holiness Church, 2000 Lake Paradise Rd., Villa Rica, GA. 30180.

Funeral Service will be conducted Sunday, October 19, 2025 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Villa Rica Free Holiness Church with Rev. Bobby House officiating.

Interment will follow in Villa Rica Free Holiness Cemetery with Tyler Gillispie, Jonathan McAdams, Joshua Evans, Peyton Gillispie, Troy Lancaster and Michael Lipham serving as pallbearers.
