John Vandiver Obituary

John was born March 10, 1974 in Pomona, CA, the son of John Henry Vandiver, Sr. and the late Patricia Pearl Wilkie Vandiver. He worked as an Insurance Agent for Bradford Hegler State Farm. John was a Wedding DJ for several years. He enjoyed tinkering with and building things as well as helping others. What truly brought John the most happiness though was spending quality time with his cherished family especially his grandchildren. He was a member of Yorkville Baptist Church. John passed away, leaving behind countless memories that will be forever etched in the hearts of those who knew him.
John is survived by his wife of 32 years, Tracie Dupree Vandiver of Waco, children Brittany and Josh Evans of Dallas, Derrick and Cambria of Carrollton, father, John Henry Vandiver, Sr. of Villa Rica, sister, Becky Jennings of Buchannan, grandchildren, McKinsey Summerville, Myleigh Summerville, Ella Evans and Tallulah Vandiver.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 24, 2025 from 3:30 PM until 5:00 PM at J. Collins Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be conducted Friday, October 24, 2025 at 5:00 PM from the Chapel of J. Collins Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Brown officiating and family giving the eulogy.
