Dawn M. Oswald, age 81 of Kellnersville, passed away Thursday, January 23rd, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Dawn was born on November 11th, 1943 in Manitowoc, a daughter of the late Edward and Ivy (Hessel) Menchal. She grew up in Francis Creek and was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On February 24th, 1962 Dawn was married to Daniel J. Oswald at St. Anne Catholic Church in Francis Creek. He preceded her in death on October 20th, 2016. In the past, Dawn worked at Kubsh's of Kellnersville. Dawn loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, bird watching, and was a Milwaukee Brewer fan. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Kellnersville.
Survivors include her six children: Doug (Sue) Oswald, Kellnersville, Dean (Stacie) Oswald, Maribel, Deanna (Don) Weger, Reifs Mills, Darrin (Ang) Oswald, Greenleaf, Dana (Mike) Tesarik, Whitelaw, Deidra (Joe) Ebert, Whitelaw; her best buddy: Oreo; seventeen grandchildren: Beth (Travis) Sales, Nick Oswald and his fiancée Katie Cunningham, Brett (Mallory) Oswald, Devon Oswald and his special friend Molly Carley, Savannah Oswald and her special friend Preston Wrobleski, Taylor Weger and her special friend Andy Edelburg, Landon Weger and his special friend Calysta Tielens, Hailey Oswald, Caitlyn Oswald, Addison Oswald, Rylee Mohr, Kyle (Brianna) Tesarik, Kora (Jack) Ribley, Kolton Tesarik and his special friend Abby Garceau, Kaden Tesarik, Kendyll Ebert, Brantley Ebert; six great-grandchildren: Jimmy Rahmlow and his fiancée Chloe Raine Wiertella, Hana Rahmlow, Evelyn Cunningham, Bowen and Gabriella Oswald, Kennedy Tesarik; one sister and brother-in-law: Mary Jo (David) Lindemann, Manitowoc; and their children: Megan Lindemann (Travis), Jacob Lindemann (Tina), Adam Lindemann; three brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Roger Oswald, Manitowoc, David (Annette) Oswald, Shoto, Rose Mary (David) Jensen, Reifs Mills, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Ed and Ivy Menchal; her husband: Dan Oswald; one daughter: Dixie Ann Oswald; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Henry "Sam" and Agnes Oswald; one sister-in-law: Lorraine Oswald; one nephew: Scott Oswald.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. The Rev. Brian Belongia will Celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow in the parish cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville (1124 Main Street) on Monday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and again on Tuesday at the Church from 9:30 am until the time of services at 11:00 am. There will be a parish prayer service at 7:00 pm, Monday, at the funeral home.
