Age 69, of Oscoda, MI, former resident of East Tawas, MI, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at MyMichigan Medical Center of Tawas City, MI. She was born in Saginaw, MI on December 17, 1956 to Donald Ladrigue and Valerie Bedford. Dawn had worked at the Tawas Villages, Rising Eagle, and the Holiday Inn over the years. She loved spending time with her family, and making her own decorations for the holidays. Dawn was married to Albert Wayne Lake. She is survived by her children, Roxanne Nieschulz, Nick Lake, Albert Lake, Jr., and Steven Politte; mother, Valerie Bedford; brothers, Donald Ladrigue, Jr. and Jake Floyd Ladrigue; sisters, Dorothy Holtzclaw, Alberta Marden, and Candy Smith Ladrigue; grandchildren, Monica Nieshulz, Austin Nieschulz, Katie Lake, Caden Lake, and Adriana Clark. Dawn was preceded in death by her sons, Kurt Bedford and Kyle Lake, and father, Donald Ladrigue. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place.
