Dawn M. Scherer

Dawn Marie Scherer, age 56, of Stevens Point, WI, passed away peacefully with her family surrounding her on February 14th, 2022.
Dawn dealt with many health issues during her life, which started with diabetes at an early age. She overcame many other hurdles, right up until Valentine's Day.
Dawn was a good person with a very a warm heart who would do anything for anyone. She enjoyed crafting, collecting wolf décor, spending time with family and friends, but most of all loved to laugh. We will all miss her and her huge smile so much.
Dawn is survived by her mother, Mary Lou Scherer, and two sisters, Stephanie Smith (Scherer) and Cynthia Chadduck (Scherer).
She is preceded in death by her father, Robert R. Scherer.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The Broken Chain
We little knew that morning,
that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
you did not go alone,
for part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.
You left us precious memories
your love is still our guide,
and though we cannot see you,
you are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again
