Dawn worked hard and lived her life to the fullest despite her health challenges over the last few years. She loved gardening, was a fantastic cook and baker, and the proud face behind Mom's Kitchen. In the summer she loved to fish, but the boys remember her busting many poles in the process! More than anything, she loved being at their camper on the lake, and loved her family dearly.
Dawn will be missed by her husband, of 22 years, Rick Swan; sons, Gavin and Dalton Swan; father, Joe Strenke (friend, Anita); parents-in-law, Kathy (Harley) Bergeron; brother-in-law, Phil (Hollie) Swan; other nieces, nephews, family and friends, and her prized possession, her pup, Petunia.
She is preceded in death by mother, Sue Strenke; brother, Jeff Strenke; father-in-law, Marlo Swan; and sister-in-law, Mindy Swan.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 4 PM - 7PM at Skinner Funeral Home Shell Lake, with closing prayers to be said at 6:45 PM.
Skinner Funeral Home of Shell Lake is serving the family.
