Dawson Thomas Hatfield, 21, of Fisherville, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022.
Dawson grew up playing soccer and loved fishing, music, movies, playing cards and being outdoors.
He was in the apprentice program to become an electrician and eventually wanted to start his own business. He was generous, kind-hearted, a jokester and very witty.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph Hanson; grandparents, Thomas and Patricia Coles; uncles, David Hanson and Tim Coles; aunt, Ruthann Hardesty (Bob); and a cousin, Darrel Hanson.
Dawson is survived by his parents, Tim and Rhonda Hatfield; sister, Savanna Rininger (Nate); niece, Effie Rininger; grandmothers, Mary Ann Hanson and Carol Gilmore; uncles, Ricky Fowler (Debra) and Dallas Fowler (Brittany); great-aunt, Wanda Hanson; his "Little Monster" Chester; and cousins, Branson, Memphis, Taylor, Dallas Taylor, Jordan, Brendan, Ashley, Robin, Kim, and Tiny.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00pm Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00pm until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, Dawson's family requests that donations be made to: The Healing Place www.thehealingplace.org or First Hour Grief Response www.firsthourgrief.org
