Dayanna Esmeralda Sanchez-Morales
LEIPSIC - Dayanna Esmeralda Sanchez-Morales, 3 years old, of Leipsic, passed away at 4:08 p.m., Thursday, March 5, 2026, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. She was born February 13, 2023, in Toledo to Angel Gabriel Sanchez Ruiz and Oralia Morales Sanchez. Her parents survive in Leipsic.
Other survivors include three siblings: Reyna, Wendy, and Yenifer Sanchez-Morales, all at home; an uncle, Abelino Morales-Sanchez; and a cousin, Alexander Sanchez-Morales.
Dayanna was a sweet and loving child who brought joy to those around her. She loved watching Cocomelon on her parents’ phone and spending time with her sisters. One of her favorite things to do was play with them and brush their hair, showing her caring and gentle nature.
Dayanna also liked to help her mom clean at home and enjoyed playing with her baby dolls. Her playful spirit and loving heart will always be remembered by her family.
Throughout her life, Dayanna faced many challenges, but she was truly a fighter. Her strength and determination touched everyone who knew her.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Putnam County Board of Developmental Disabilities, The Help Me Grow Program and Dolores Garcia for the attention, care, and love given to Dayanna as she overcame her struggles through life. They too watched her grow.
A special thank you to Sabina Chamale for showing her love and support in more ways than she ever had to during this time.
To the Leipsic community, thank you for coming together for our family with your love, support, and donations. It means so much to us. God bless you all.

Funeral services will begin at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Pastor Jose Zamora officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 pm until the time of service.
Memorial donations may be made to LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic.

LEIPSIC – Dayanna Esmeralda Sánchez-Morales, de 3 años de edad, de Leipsic, falleció a las 4:08 p.m. el jueves 5 de marzo de 2026 en ProMedica Toledo Hospital. Nació el 13 de febrero de 2023 en Toledo, hija de Angel Gabriel Sánchez Ruiz y Oralia Morales Sánchez. Sus padres sobreviven y residen en Leipsic.
Otros familiares que le sobreviven incluyen a sus tres hermanas: Reyna, Wendy y Yenifer Sánchez-Morales, todas en el hogar; un tío, Abelino Morales-Sánchez; y un primo, Alexander Sánchez-Morales.
Dayanna era una niña dulce y amorosa que traía alegría a todos los que la rodeaban. Le encantaba ver Cocomelon en el teléfono de sus padres y pasar tiempo con sus hermanas. Una de sus cosas favoritas era jugar con ellas y cepillarles el cabello, demostrando su naturaleza cariñosa y tierna.
A Dayanna también le gustaba ayudar a su mamá a limpiar en la casa y disfrutaba jugar con sus muñecas bebé. Su espíritu alegre y su corazón lleno de amor siempre serán recordados por su familia.
A lo largo de su vida, Dayanna enfrentó muchos desafíos, pero realmente fue una luchadora. Su fortaleza y determinación tocaron el corazón de todos los que la conocieron.
La familia desea expresar su más sincero agradecimiento a Putnam County Board of Developmental Disabilities, al Programa Help Me Grow y a Dolores Garcia por la atención, el cuidado y el amor que le brindaron a Dayanna mientras superaba sus dificultades a lo largo de su vida. Ellos también tuvieron la oportunidad de verla crecer.
