Dea Maria Anjos, a resident of Fishkill, NY for ten years and formerly of Florida, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at the Taconic Health Care Center in Fishkill. She was 91.

Daughter of the late Alexander R. da Costa Lima and Ditinha Alvas, she was born in Recife, Brazil on March 1, 1934. Dea emigrated to the United States at the age of 25.

Her hobbies included gardening and cooking, but more than anything else, she truly cherished her family and spending time with those she loved.

In 1959, she married Jose Anjos in Brazil. Dea was predeceased by her husband in 2015.

Survivors include her sons: Jose Anjos & his wife Patrice of Fishkill, Reinaldo Anjos & Karen Reader of Wappinger, and Jeff Anjos & his wife Debbie of Hopewell Junction; her grandchildren: Laura Redman & her husband Michael, Nicole Anjos & her husband Thomas Burkmire, Audrey Klepper & her husband Ryan, Garrett Anjos, David Maldonado, Nicole Merhige, Gregory Tomasek, Bianca Anjos, and Chase Anjos; several great-grandchildren; and many other loving relatives & friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Dea was also predeceased by her daughter, Syliva Tomasek, and her sisters Ida and Eva.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY. A funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. immediately following the visitation.
