Deacon James Papucci was born and passed away on January 31, 2026, the son of Mya Papucci. Though his time on earth was heartbreakingly brief, his life forever changed the hearts of those who loved him.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his grandparents, Tyson and Hope Papucci; his aunt, Leah Freed and uncle, Alec Papucci.
Deacon was named with intention and love. His name was chosen because it represented strength, resilience, and a spirit that could not be broken. From the moment it was spoken aloud, it felt right. Deacon James was destined to be strong. His middle name, James, was chosen to honor his Papa, whose strength, love, and presence live on through him. His mama knew this little boy would be just as strong as his Papa.
Deacon was deeply loved before he ever took a breath. He was carried with hope, prayed over endlessly, and dreamed of every single day. He will always be his Mama's baby and his Grandparents' precious angel. His Grandma holds him close in her heart, knowing a love like this never ends.
Though his time here was far too short, Deacon will forever be held in the souls of those who loved him. He taught his family about a love deeper than words, about grief that exists only because the love was so great.
Deacon James will always be remembered. Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever Deacon.
