Dean Stuart Charlick, of Highland, MI passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024. He was 66 years old.
Dean was born on November 9, 1957 to proud parents, Gerald and Marjorie Charlick. He was a graduate of Milford High Schools class of 1975 and was a life-long resident of Highland, MI. He was known for his selflessness, unwavering love for his family, and his big heart. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as hunting, fishing, gardening, and his hardworking nature and positive outlook on life were truly inspiring to all who knew him.
Dean's 42-year journey with his one true love, Lori Charlick (Bulmann), was a testament to the strength of their bond and the love they shared. He embodied qualities of kindness, generosity, and a unique, sarcastic sense of humor that brought light to those around him. Dean Stuart Charlick will be remembered as a role model for all, a man who exemplified the values of compassion, dedication, and joy in everything he did. May his memory live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him. Dean was the man, every man should strive to be.
Dean is survived by his wife, Lori Charlick (Bulmann); his children, Quentin Charlick and Ciara Charlick; his step-children, Christa (Jeff) Parsons, Cari Cobb, and the late James D. Cobb; his sister, Pam (John) Lindsay, his sister, Gail Porritt (Ken Voss), brother, Andy (Sarah) Charlick; his 10 grandchildren, and many nephews, nieces, as well as many beloved extended family and friends.
Memorial contributions are encouraged in Dean's name to the Highland Congregational Church, 1605 N. Hickory Ridge Rd., Highland, MI 48357.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 2:00PM - 8:00PM at Lynch & Sons, 404 E. Liberty Set., Milford, MI 48381. A service and time of sharing will begin at 7:00PM. For those who knew and loved Dean, he would want you to come dressed in your favorite camouflage or casual attire.
For those able to attend, a celebration of life will take place at 1:00PM on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the Highland Congregational church, 1605 N. Hickory Ridge Rd., Highland, MI 48357.
