Dean Greenberg Obituary

Our son and brother Dean Lawrence Greenberg passed away September 24, 2025, at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah of natural causes.

He was born March 20, 1967, in Las Vegas, Nevada to Raymond Lawrence Greenberg and Jacqueline Lee Neemeyer Greenberg.

He grew up in Holladay, Utah graduating from Skyline High school.

Dean spent most of his life working beside his dad on construction and roofing jobs. The two of them were quite the duo.

He had multiple health issues and would first try his "nutrients" or holistic medicines with Tai Chi to treat them. Occasionally, he was forced to use modern medicine which he did not like. In the end the illnesses became too overwhelming, and he succumbed to them.

Dean was a veteran of the Army branch of service. Even though he did not finish his time, he was honorably discharged. The VA was a huge help to Dean in many capacities.

Dean never married or had children. His beloved kitties were his family.

He had a strong "family" of supporters from the Richmond Flats Apartments. We thank them for keeping their eyes out for one another.

Dean is survived by his mother Jacqueline and his siblings Karen Meek, Jennifer Hall (Greg), Rebecca Decker (Don), Buzz Greenberg (Heidi) and multiple nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Raymond and his brother Ralph Greenberg.

Dean was cremated. Graveside services will be held on November 3, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. Utah Veterans Cemetery 17111 1700 W, Bluffdale, UT 84065.
