Robert W. Parks

Robert William Parks passed away the morning of September 14, 2025 at his home. He was born in Richfield, Utah September 7, 1953.

His family moved to Salt Lake City when he was 5 years old. He graduated from Skyline High School and attended the University of Utah. Bob worked as a parking services assistant director where he met Sharon Ann Barker. They were married in Salt Lake City on August 25, 1990 and then sealed on February 2, 1991 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

In his professional career he took immense pride in his work as a bank examiner for Zions Bancorporation.

Within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints he held various callings. His most fulfilling calling was as high priest group instructor. He then served as a stake high councilor and as bishop.

All throughout his life he was known as an avid reader and book collector.

Bob is survived by his wife, Sharon; his children – Tamra, Kimberly, Brandon and Cameron, also 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Also surviving him is his brother, Frank (nephew-Scott) and sister, Rachel.

He is preceded in death by his mother, father and brother.

Private family services and interment are to be held at a later date. Interment in the Richfield City Cemetery.
