In addition to his wife, Sharon, he is survived by his daughter; Heather (Adam) Akers, Dana, KY, sister; Charolette Frasure, Grethel, KY, three granddaughters; Addison, Addalyn and Allyssa Akers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother; Audrey Hamilton and one sister; Glenda Joyce Hamilton Newsome.
Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Heiko Geise officiating. Burial will follow in the Thomas Hamilton Cemetery, Andy Br., Teaberry, KY, visitation is after 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.

I´m so sorry to hear of Dean´s passing. While our paths didn´t cross much in recent years, he always greeted me with such a pleasant warm smile it was a pleasure to see him. It seems but a short while since Dude Branch mining got started but the years have flown away. May God bless all his friends and loved ones with tender mercy. Jim Newman
