Dean Nathan Harper, 64, of Villa Rica, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at his residence. He was born on January 30, 1961, the son of the late Charles Parker Harper and the late Hattie Beatrice Foster Hancock and the late step-father, Chester Hancock.
Dean was a free-spirited soul who lived life to the fullest. He had an undeniable passion for nature, always seeking adventures in the wilderness. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed every moment spent among the trees, rivers, and mountains. Dean found a sense of peace and joy being outside. Dean was a carpenter who found joy in creating things with his hands, whether it was constructing beautiful wooden pieces or scrap metal art.
He is survived by his daughters, April Berrios of Carrollton and Crystal Goolsby of Villa Rica; sister and brother-in-law, Melinda and Adam Watson of Yukon, OK; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark and Deborah Harper of Bowdon Junction and Rickey and Donna Harper of Gloucester, VA; seven grandchildren, Alexis, Kylie, Hannah, Elijah, Gabriel, Wyatt and Dean; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel with a memorial service at 1:00 PM
