Michael “Mike” E. Vaughn, 54, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026. He was born December 2, 1971, at Tyndall Air Force Base, Fl. He is the son of Ronald E. Vaughn and Charlotte M. Vaughn of Douglasville, GA.
He was a devoted son, brother and friend. He will be remembered for his generous heart, his time with family and odd sense of humor. He loved his Saturday game night with mother and sister.
He is survived by; his sister, Susan Shearer of Winston; nieces and nephews, Jessica Shearer, Kristen Shearer, Dillon Shearer, Justin Shearer; great niece and nephew, Adeline Shearer and Dawson Shearer.
Larry (Annie) Bailey, Uncle and Aunt. Judy (Tommy) Maddox, Aunt and Uncle. Best friends; Britt Thomas, Billy Cahill, John Phillips, Amanda and Craig Haldane.
Preceded in death by brother-in-law, Jimmy Shearer.
