Dean Harris

Dean Harris, 69, of Ashland, Ohio died on Monday, December 15, 2025 at Crystal Care Nursing Home. Dean was born in New London, Ohio to Alice and Virgil Harris. He was the second born of a set of fraternal twin boys’ with Brother Dale.

Dean was a resident of New London, graduating from New London High School/EHOVE Career Center in 1975. He was a print operator and enjoyed working in the field for years until becoming disabled in the early 1990’s.

Dean is survived by his siblings, Virgil Harris Jr of Columbus, OH, Dale Harris and Eddie Harris, both of Mansfield, OH, Betty Harris Brown of San Marcos, CA and George and wife Earlene Harris of Ashland, OH; cousins, Mamie Singleton of Ashland, OH and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Dean was preceded in death by his mother and father, Alice and Virgil Harris Sr.; brothers, Dwight, Timothy, Milton and Vernon Harris.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W Main Street, New London, OH 44851. Private family services will be held and burial will take place at the Grove Street Cemetery in New London.
