Dean J. McPhee SOUTH WALLINGFORD - Dean J. McPhee, 63, of So. Wallingford died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 30th, at his residence. He was born November 4th, 1961, in Rutland, the son of Robert and Janet (LaFrancois) McPhee. Dean attended Rutland High School. He worked closely with his father in logging and over-the-road trucking. He was employed by F.W. Whitcomb/William E. Dailey/Peckham Industries for over 30 years. Dean was an incredible husband, father, and poppy. He married his wife of 44 years, Teresa, in June of 1981. For those who knew him, they knew his love of the outdoors and chasing the almighty buck! Wetting a line or walking in the woods foraging for his prize mushrooms brought him great peace. He loved sharing his stories and experiences with his grandkids and always encouraged them to get outdoors. Survivors include his wife of So. Wallingford; Two daughters, Miranda McPhee of Rutland, and Bethany Arace (Mike) of Londonderry; One son, Keith McPhee of Mt. Holly; his mother; sisters, Joela Conway and Joynel Powers; brother, Robert (Bob) McPhee. Ten grandchildren Izibela, Eliza, Keegin, Sofia, Zeke, Madelyn, Jayse, Lainie, Scarlet, and Liliana. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Predeceased by his father Robert in 1990 and brother Gordon in 2024. Friends may call at Aldous Funeral Home in Wallingford, VT on Friday, November 7th, from 4-6 pm. Burial will take place Saturday, November 8th, at the East Clarendon Cemetery at 11 am.
